PART 73
Sura 50 - "KAF"
By David E. Flang
Allah asks the infidels to observe that he made the heaven, earth, and
sent down rain for the gardens to nourish man. But the people of Noah, Rass,
and Themoud treated their prophets as imposters. Ad and Pharaoh and the
brethren of Lot all gave to their prophets the lie and justly were the
menaces inflicted.
When man is judged two angels, one sitting on the left side and one on the
right will take account while a watcher is ready to write the man's response
if any.
"As the stupor of certain death cometh upon him:- "this is what thou wouldst
have shunned' - followed by a trumpet blast, "it is the threaten day!" And
the angel at the man's side shall say, "This is what I am prepared with
against thee." "And God will say, Cast into Hell, ye twain [the two angels],
every infidel, every harden one, The hinderer of the good, the transgressor,
the doubter, Who set up other gods with God. Cast ye him into the fierce
torment." "On that day will we cry to Hell, 'Art thou full?' And it [hell]
shall say 'are there more?"
"On the day when the earth shall swiftly cleave asunder over the dead,
will this gathering be easy to Us. We know best what the infidels say: and thou
at not to compel them. Warn then by the Koran those who fear my menace."
